Talayan returns. After Eye of Rhythm brought tabla, sitar and Jazz drums onto a single stage, the project moves into its second chapter — one night at St John Hoxton. Tickets are on sale now.

Manmohan performs at the Indian High Commission's celebration of the International Day of Yoga, accompanying Kathak dancers on tabla and joining a jugalbandi with a Mridangam player — a meeting of Hindustani and Carnatic rhythm in dialogue.

Manmohan performs at the grand finale of the Festival of Thetford & Punjab — a cross-cultural celebration inspired by the people of Thetford and the Duleep Singh family, the last royal family of the Punjab. The Thetford Mela brings a full day of music, dance and performance, from bhangra and gidha to the classical voice of the tabla.

The first chapter, Talayan: Eye of Rhythm, brought three traditions — tabla, sitar and Jazz drums — onto a single stage at OMNOM Islington. That evening now lives on as a record of the night, and the project continues with Talayan 2.0 on Saturday 7 November 2026 at St John Hoxton, London.
